All of the names for these pictures mean something, even if they don't make sense. They are either inside jokes, about my friends, or something about me. All of these pictures represent me very well this time, and I am very proud of them.
Now, the stories.
The first collection I did was Amelia's Path. I call it Amelia's Path because Amelia seemed more interested in the path than I was. She told me to take a picture of the path, and at first, I was like, "Nah, this isn't one of the locations I had in mind..." But before that came out of my mouth, I took the lid off of my camera's lens. In a few of the pictures, I noticed I had captured something of Amelia. As much as I wanted to use those pictures, I wasn't supposed to have humans in the picture. The only one I kept was the one with her shadow. I know its still part of a human, but there was something about the picture and having just her shadow in the picture that made it my favorite picture. She made a comment about a tree that was leaning over, saying that t might fall over and crack. I never said it aloud, but I wanted to say that the tree is just swooning for her. I probably seem extra flirty with Amelia, but she is just one of my best friends, and we always flirt with each other like this. We love each other.
The second collection that I shot was The Path Collection. We walked down this path, and Amelia turned to me and said, "Do you know where you're going? I haven't ever been here before," which shocked me, because I always thought Amelia knew Ann Arbor much better than I did. I kinda laughed, and explained my shock, then told her that I had only been here once before with someone back in freshman year. I kept who I was with a secret, though, and she didn't ask any questions. She just looked around the Arb in amazement. I'm happy I was able to show her the Arb. She told me that she wants to come back when its warmer. I agreed. Anyways, I looked down the path, and decided to take another picture. Thankfully, there were no people around, so I was able to take all of the pictures easily.
The third collection that was shot was The River From Above Collection. Amelia and I stood at the top of this hill, and looked over the river at the bottom of the hill. There was a steep path that I walked down to get to the trees. Amelia was nervous that I was gonna fall, since there was no real places to put my feet to walk down or up. Thankfully, I didn't fall. We found another way to get down to the river, because she was so against going down the steep hill. She's rather clumsy, I think, and she didn't wanna fall. It makes sense. I mean, its Amelia. <3
The fourth collection that I did was The River Bed Collection. Once we got down the hill, we found this pipe and a dried up river bed. I wanted to get pics of the pebbles, and I decided to risk my life by walking along this slick pipe while wearing my Sperry boots. Clearly, I survived, and it was definitely worth it. Amelia stood on the path that was a little behind the trees, and after she let me sit on the pipe for a while, she made this CA CAW sound to get my attention (and for her snapchat story... After zooming in on my face ahahahha). We walked down the path for a little while, and we got to this bench that overlooked the river.
This is where I shot the last collection; The Leap Collection. While we sat there looking at the rock, I had told her how badly I wanted to go sit on that rock. I told her how it'd be such a cool shot for modeling (and for instagram..), and how badly I wanted to go sit there. She laughed a little, and she told me that I'd need a bathing suit, or the ability to leap that far. I told her next spring I'd get that picture. Trust me, I will.
