The message I am trying to convey in this piece is that there is a dog in the world who doesn’t hate wearing a hairnet, and I, Nyah R*****r, own that pup. Another message I’m subliminally trying to convey is to go buy Chipotle, because their rice bowls with white rice, chicken, no beans, mild salsa (the chunky stuff), and cheese is really good. The first layer is my selfie, and obviously that represents my face. The next layer is a Chipotle sign, and that represents my dedication to the brand and store. My third layer is of my dog, and that represents my love for my angel, Mocha, who looks adorable wearing a hairnet. My fourth layer is of a lake in San Marcos, Texas with a little boat on the lake, which represents the time I visited my dad in Texas, and how I really enjoyed the colors and the background of that shot, and idolized that picture for a good month after it was taken. The fifth and final layer is of a purple sunset that was taken at Skyline after a rain storm, and that represents how a place so ugly can actually be pretty sometimes (School is ugly, purple sunset is pretty). The effects I used in photoshop was that one tool that makes it fade out like that one meme. The other tool I used in photoshop was the tool that cuts out the background from your pictures. I used that with my selfie and my pooch, because I’m sure no one wants to see the walls of my rooms and hallways that I was behind. It also makes it easier to blend all of the pictures together, like a blending brush you could buy at any cosmetics store to make your contour amazing. My selfie collage is named “Doggo plus Nyah,” because of how the dog is amazing and how I’m next to him, and the point of this project was to get a good grade in this class, and to express different pictures I found on my phone that I really enjoy. This project also helps to discuss different events that happened throughout the 6 months of pictures I took, but could only use 5 of those pictures. Each picture is connected, because of the events that were going on during the time that I took these pictures, so these angles were all taken with the same mindset.
